The latest release of the
Ceridian-UCLA Pulse of Commerce Index™ (PCI) suggests that the economic activity increased in December with the seasonally adjusted index jumping 2.44% as compared to November and remaining 4.10% above the level seen in December 2009.
Further, the three month moving average increased notably indicating that the December (released this Friday) Industrial Production data will likely show a similar trend.
