The Empire State Manufacturing Survey consists of a series of diffusion indices distilled from a monthly survey of New York regional manufacturing executives and seeks to identify trends across 22 different current and future manufacturing related activities.Today’s report indicated expansion for current activity and future activity with the current business conditions index climbing to 11.92 while the future conditions index increased to 58.95.
Current new orders increased to 12.39 while future new orders edged up slightly to 53.68.
