Congressional Bubble Trouble Take 2!

This week, the Senate Banking Committee held a hearing entitled “Calculated Risk: Assessing Non-Traditional Mortgage Products” as a follow up to last weeks meeting on the housing bubble.

Similar to last weeks meeting, this meeting was NOT broadcast live by C-Span (or the Banking Committee website for that matter) but was taped and slotted to be aired at a later time.

UPDATE:

C-Span eventually aired the meeting in its entirety this morning (Friday morning) and I was able to “rip” the entire broadcast.

Also, If you prefer to simply listen to the audio, a link to the complete audio of the meeting was posted at CalculatedRisk.

  • Thank you for providing a service that the MSM seems too disinterested to do - reporting on our government's dealings in a time of impending crisis.

  • The audio is available for the first panel here (Real Media). And the text of the witness testimony for both panels is available on the Senate site.

If you post the audio / video for the second panel, could you let me know?

    Best Wishes.
